He has advised numerous organizing committees and sports related organizations and
has led environmental management systems development efforts for many entities.
Most recently, Mr. Diamantidis implemented a number of successful programs in Greece and
around the world while promoting Sport and Environment for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
He currently serves as Director for Sports and Environment for the San Francisco World Environment Day 2005
Tony Diamantidis is Executive Director of the Athens Environmental Foundation (AEF). Mr. Diamantidis is
also the founder of Chemical Safety Software, an environmental management computer technology company based in the United
States and Greece. He has served in senior environmental technology capacities in both public and corporate entities
worldwide, including the US EPA, the University of California and the US Departments of Justice, Defense and Energy.

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, and living in the San Francisco Bay Area, he has always been involved in
athletics and dreamed of being an Olympian. He was on the junior Olympic fencing team of Greece in 1966
and on the Greek National Skeleton Team in 2004. He currently coaches several youth soccer teams. His personal
and professional commitment to sports and the environment, and his love for the Olympics have been the driving forces
for establishing AEF. Mr. Diamantidis holds an MBA from St. Mary's College in California, a BA in English/Communications from
Columbia University in New York and an AAS degree in Computer Science from Pace University in New York.
Mr. Diamantidis was honored at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games by running the "Environmental Torch" on the eve of the
Olympic Games opening ceremonies. He recently received the Bay Area OXI award by the Hellenic Federation of Northern California
for his contribution to the Athens Olympic Games.
